Make your plan before the game. On-site parking is extremely limited and must be purchased in advance. There are a multitude of transportation options including the Metra, CTA, and rideshare.

Gameday Timeline

Parking lots typically open four hours before kickoff, gates open two hours before, and Will Call opens 30 minutes prior to gates.

The stadium closes shortly after the game ends, and tailgating wraps up approximately five hours after kickoff.

Parking Coupon Holders

Your parking pass must be visible to traffic aides when you are approaching the stadium. Follow the entrance and exit routes to expedite your arrival.

On-Site Parking Options

There is no single game/cash parking on any of the Museum Campus Lots. For information on parking around Soldier Field for Bears games, please view the Parking & Transit Guide.

Rideshare Pre-game drop-off locations

18th St. turnaround west of Jean-Baptiste Dusable Lake Shore Dr. or Balbo Dr. between Columbus Dr. and Jean-Baptiste Pointe Dusable Lake Shore Dr.

Public Transit

Several CTA routes will get fans to Soldier Field. Take the El red line, green line or orange line to the Roosevelt station (0.8mi walk). Or take the 147 Museum Campus bus to the north side of Soldier Field.

South Courtyard

There's more to gameday around Soldier Field. Visit the south courtyard for a variety of family-friendly activities and partner activations. The south courtyard opens when gates open and closes at the start of the 3rd Quarter.

Virtual Reality - Step into virtual Soldier Field and participate in our Quarterback Challenge.
Staley's Corner - Celebrate everything Staley Da Bear with sign creation stations, photos with Staley, and an opportunity to write your favorite mascot a letter.
Face Painters - Get your family gameday ready with Bears themed face paint and tattoos.
Locker Room - Step inside the "Bears Locker Room" to take a photo and try on a helmet.

My First Bears Game

Bringing someone to their first Bears game? Visit a Fan Services booth, including the United Club Concierge Desks, for a FREE "My First Bears Game" certificate. Also available, "It's My First Game!" or "It's My Birthday!" buttons to proudly display while enjoying the game. A "My First Game" photo backdrop opportunity is located near Gate 0.

NFL Bag Policy

For games at Soldier Field, approved bags are limited to:

• Bags that are clear and do not exceed 12"x6"x12"
• One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags (Ziploc bag or similar)
• Small bags no larger than 4.5"x 6.5"

Soldier Field Security

To ensure the safety of all guests, Soldier Field has enhanced security through the use of walk-through metal detectors at all gates. All carry-in items will be searched. Guests are encouraged to enter the stadium early. Our gates open two hours prior to kickoff.

Mobile Tickets

All guests are required to enter Bears home games at Soldier Field using a mobile ticket. We strongly recommend adding your ticket(s) to your phone's digital wallet in advance to avoid slow cellular signal.

Ticket Advisory

To avoid counterfeit tickets, we suggest that fans purchase tickets directly from the Chicago Bears Ticket Office or from Ticketmaster. The selling and purchasing of game tickets on Park District property is strictly prohibited.

Gameday Fan Zones

Get to the game early and enjoy FREE access to the Vizzy Fan Zone (in the southeast lawn) and the Miller Lite Ultimate Tailgate (north of the stadium at the Field Museum Terrace).

Vizzy Fan Zone

Visit the Vizzy Fan Zone on the Southeast lawn/Stadium Green beginning two and a half hours before kickoff. The Fan Zone will feature appearances from Chicago Bears Alumni, Chicago Letters, Face Painters, Football-Related Games, Interactive Displays and beverages for purchase. Don't miss the live musical performances on the Vizzy Stage!

Miller Lite Ultimate Tailgate

The Miller Lite Ultimate Tailgate is located on the north side of Soldier Field on the Field Museum terrace and will be open starting two hours before kickoff running through one hour postgame. The Ultimate Tailgate, which is free and open to the public, will feature music, appearances by the Chicago Bears Drumline brought to you by Shell, and the Monster Squad. Food and beverage will be available for purchase.
